Max Mersch

Max Mersch is a Partner and Co-founder at Fabric Ventures, a venture capital firm operating out of Luxembourg. Since entering the blockchain sector in 2016, he has helped direct the firm's capital allocation, including managing a $130 million fund dedicated to early-stage open economy projects. Through his work at Fabric Ventures, Mersch has backed several prominent decentralized technology companies, building a portfolio that features industry entities such as Polkadot, Sorare, Near, and 1inch. Prior to establishing his current firm, he gained institutional experience holding investment roles at the European venture capital firms OpenOcean and Mosaic Ventures. He completed his undergraduate education in the United Kingdom, earning a Bachelor's degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Imperial College London. Mersch currently focuses his primary investment strategy on the expanding Web3 gaming ecosystem and the broader development of decentralized digital economies.
