Max Liben

Max Liben is the Chief Technology Officer at H3X, an electric propulsion technology company based in Louisville, Colorado. In this executive capacity, he directs overall product engineering and core technology development, specializing in the design of high-power-density electric motors. Prior to assuming his current executive position at H3X, he held specialized engineering roles focused on vehicle modeling, system architecture, and propulsion technologies across the commercial automotive and aerospace sectors. Liben earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His multidisciplinary technical background bridges complex physics fundamentals with applied mechanical and electrical engineering principles to support advanced hardware development. He currently focuses his professional efforts on advancing electric propulsion systems to meet the rigorous performance requirements of modern aviation and high-performance vehicle applications.
