Max Kerr is a technology entrepreneur and the Founder of Talc, a software startup focused on artificial intelligence deployment. He established the company alongside his longtime friend and climbing partner, Matt, to build infrastructure that assists developers in transitioning artificial intelligence prototypes into scalable, production-ready applications. Prior to launching Talc, Kerr served as a technical lead at Facebook, where he directly managed a 30-person engineering team. During his tenure at the social media corporation leading up to 2022, he directed critical privacy initiatives and oversaw security protocols for major consumer product launches over a two-year period. Earlier in his career, he worked in the security division at Microsoft, developing foundational expertise in enterprise software protection.
