Maurizio Mussi

Maurizio Mussi is a Partner and Head of the Europe Portfolio Group at Bain Capital. Prior to joining the global private equity firm, he led a corporate turnaround at the luxury underwear company La Perla and worked as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company in Milan, where he focused on sales and restructuring initiatives for retail and packaged goods clients. He earned a Master of Business Administration as a Baker Scholar from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Business Administration summa cum laude from Università Commerciale L. Bocconi. In his current capacity, he serves as a board member for the European payments technology company Nexi, representing Bain Capital's strategic investment. Mussi currently focuses on driving portfolio value creation, operational improvements, and data-driven management strategies across four distinct sectors: payments, enterprise software, semiconductors, and aquaculture.
