MAURIZIO CALÓ CALIGARIS

Maurizio Caló Caligaris is the co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Calii, a Y Combinator-backed food e-commerce platform automating the supply chain in Latin America. Previously, he served as an early engineer at the fintech unicorn Addepar, where he helped establish the company's New York office. Before his transition to the fintech and e-commerce sectors, Caligaris worked as a deep learning researcher at the Stanford AI Lab under Andrew Ng starting in 2010. During his academic career, he earned a bronze medal at the International Mathematical Olympiad, completed an internship at Lightspeed Venture Partners, and served as a teaching assistant for Stanford computer science courses reaching over 1,000 students. His current focus centers on leveraging his technical expertise in artificial intelligence to scale grocery delivery logistics and optimize food supply chains across emerging Latin American markets.
