Mauricio Porras is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner at H20 Capital Innovation, an investment firm focused on early-stage venture capital and private equity. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Entrepreneurship from Babson College, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and initially met his future business partner, Daniel Lloreda, in 2014. As a Mexican immigrant and emerging fund manager, Porras has accumulated over 11 years of professional experience across the broader financial services and investment sectors. Under his strategic direction, H20 Capital Innovation, which is also known as HTwenty Capital Innovation, successfully launched a $50 million investment fund in February 2022. This capital vehicle was specifically designed to back emerging technology startups. His current professional focus remains centered on identifying, funding, and scaling high-growth entrepreneurial ventures throughout the rapidly developing Latin American market.
