Matthieu Bonamy

Matthieu Bonamy is currently a Partner at Eurazeo, where he leads the firm's Smart City and Climate Tech venture investment practice. With over 20 years of professional experience across financial services, software development, and energy, he has spent the last 12 years at Eurazeo managing a diverse portfolio of more than 27 companies. His venture capital track record features several notable public offerings and strategic acquisitions, including transactions involving prominent technology companies such as Sunrun, Forsee Power, and Breezometer, which was ultimately acquired by Google. Prior to his investment career, he served as the Operations and Finance Director for a global renewable energy scale-up and completed advanced studies at INSEAD, École Polytechnique, and Oxford Saïd Business School. Bonamy currently focuses on funding early-stage industrial innovation, energy transition, and urban mobility startups utilizing artificial intelligence and digital technologies.
