Matthew Wachter

Matthew Wachter is a Partner at Tiger Global Management based in New York, New York, where he invests in private markets across the seed to Series B stages. Prior to joining the global investment firm in January 2022, he served as an investor at General Atlantic and W Capital Partners between 2018 and 2021. Earlier in his professional career, Wachter operated as a Managing Partner at Dorm Room Fund in 2015 while earning a Bachelor of Science in Economics from The Wharton School. Throughout his tenure in venture capital, he has backed more than ten prominent technology companies, including major industry leaders such as Vercel, Chime, Roblox, and Carta. Wachter currently focuses his primary capital allocation strategy on growth-stage consumer and technology businesses operating within the enterprise software, artificial intelligence, and financial technology sectors.
