Matthew Rybak

Matthew Rybak is the co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Tank Payments, an Austin fintech startup modernizing payment infrastructure for the freight and trucking industry. He holds a bachelor's and master's degree in systems engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and began his career in financial services at Citigroup. Rybak later transitioned to the technology sector, working at FindTheBest before serving as a Senior Product Manager at Amazon following its 2017 acquisition of Graphiq. Prior to his current venture, he founded a real estate development firm and the website Truckinfo.net, eventually launching Tank Payments to eliminate standard 30-day payment delays for trucking operators. Today, he oversees product and factor business development for a seven-employee platform that participated in Y Combinator's S22 batch, reached $23.6 million in revenue, and won Airbnb's 2023 Ron Conway Economic Empowerment Award.
