Matthew Reeves

Matthew Reeves is the Co-founder of Together AI, an artificial intelligence infrastructure platform based in San Francisco, California. In his current role, he leads product development and scales open-source AI models, supporting a platform that hosts over 100 open models with billions of parameters. Under his leadership, the company secured a $102.5 million Series A extension in November 2024 and released the RedPajama-3 seven-billion parameter language model in March 2025. The startup has also collaborated with major industry partners like NVIDIA and Radical Ventures to advance its hardware and funding initiatives. Prior to founding Together AI, Reeves worked as a Consultant at Boston Consulting Group, where he advised technology and startup clients on corporate strategy and operations. His career currently focuses on advancing machine learning collaboration tools and building scalable infrastructure for open-source artificial intelligence systems.
