Matthew Pryor

Matthew Pryor is a General Partner at Tenacious Ventures and a Partner at AgThentic, where he directs early-stage venture capital into agricultural and food technology startups. Prior to his current investment roles, he co-founded Observant, an Australian precision agriculture technology company that was successfully acquired by the multinational firm Jain Irrigation in February 2017. Following this corporate exit, Pryor expanded his involvement in the startup ecosystem by serving as the founding chair of Rocket Seeder, an accelerator program designed to support emerging food and agriculture innovation.
