Matthew Nordan

Matthew Nordan is the Co-founder and General Partner at Azolla Ventures, where he manages seed-stage climate tech investments and oversees the scaling of the 50 million dollar Prime Impact Fund. He recently announced a 239 million dollar blended climate fund to further his primary focus on advancing science-driven innovation and emerging technologies to address global environmental challenges. Previously, Nordan held venture roles at Venrock, where his investments included Nest Labs prior to its acquisition by Google for over three billion dollars. His earlier career includes serving as Co-founder and President of Lux Research, holding senior positions at Forrester Research, and earning a Bachelor of Arts in cognitive neuroscience from Yale University. Additionally, he has testified before the United States Congress four times and serves on the boards of Climate Tech Insights and Sense Labs.
