Matthew Monahan is the Co-Founder and Director of the Namaste Foundation and the Edmund Hillary Fellowship, currently based in Wellington, New Zealand. Prior to his current philanthropic and venture capital initiatives, he and his brother Brian Monahan co-founded Inflection, a Silicon Valley-based data and family history enterprise, in 2006. Under his direct leadership as Chief Executive Officer, Inflection grew to over 100 employees and developed Archives.com, a platform that scaled rapidly before being acquired by Ancestry.com for $100 million in 2012. Following this successful corporate exit, Monahan relocated to New Zealand to establish Kiwi Connect and formally partner with the Hillary Institute of International Leadership to foster global entrepreneurship. His current professional focus centers on deploying capital through the Namaste Foundation to support early-stage technology ventures and non-profit organizations dedicated to environmental sustainability and community resilience.
