Matthew Middleton

Matthew Middleton is currently a Principal on the Flagship Private Equity team at Veritas Capital, where his primary responsibilities involve deal sourcing and transaction execution for technology-enabled businesses. Before joining his current firm, he served as a Vice President at TPG Capital, a major global alternative asset management firm. During his tenure at TPG Capital, Middleton directed his investment efforts toward evaluating and managing portfolio companies specifically within the business services, industrials, and energy sectors. Earlier in his financial career, he gained foundational corporate transaction experience working as an Investment Banking Analyst at J.P. Morgan, following the successful completion of his Bachelor of Science in Finance and Accounting from Georgetown University. Today, Middleton's professional background centers on identifying, structuring, and executing complex private equity buyout investments across the broader technology, industrial, and business services landscapes.
