Matthew McRae

Matthew McRae is a Partner at Unlock Venture Partners, where he focuses on early-stage technology investments. Concurrently, he has served as the Chief Executive Officer of Arlo Technologies since August 2018, launching subscription services that generated over five million subscribers and $300 million in annual recurring revenue. His previous executive experience includes over seven years as Chief Technology Officer at VIZIO, Senior Vice President of Strategy at NETGEAR, and Senior Director of Worldwide Business Development at Cisco Systems. McRae, who holds dual bachelor's degrees in economics and computer engineering from the Wharton School and the University of Pennsylvania, was appointed to the Snap Inc. Board of Directors in late 2025. His current focus centers on leveraging his extensive background in consumer technology, cybersecurity, and cloud computing to identify and scale disruptive artificial intelligence and data-driven enterprises.
