Matthew Koertge

Matthew Koertge is the Managing Director of Titanium Ventures, formerly known as Telstra Ventures, based in Sydney, Australia. With over 25 years of venture capital experience since 1998, he has supported more than 200 private equity-backed companies through acquisitions and initial public offerings. Under his leadership, the firm has managed a portfolio of 78 investments, generating 28 liquidity events and backing 12 unicorn startups with a global team of 19 professionals. Prior to his current position, he held various roles at Accede Capital Venture Partners, Deutsche Bank, Macquarie Group, and Fujitsu. His academic background includes an engineering degree from the University of New South Wales, a law degree, and an MBA featuring exchange studies at the Wharton School. Koertge currently focuses on executing venture capital investments and driving global growth for emerging technology startups.
