Matthew Granade

Matthew Granade is the Chief Market Intelligence Officer at Point72 Asset Management and Managing Partner of Point72 Ventures. Before joining Point72 in 2015, he served as Co-Head of Research at Bridgewater Associates and worked as a management consultant at McKinsey and Company. In 2013, he co-founded Domino Data Lab, an enterprise artificial intelligence platform where he continues to serve on the board of directors alongside his governance roles at Say, Tempo, and Quantopian. The Harvard Business School graduate currently oversees proprietary research, systematic trading strategies, and early-stage venture investments across financial technology, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence. Through Point72 Ventures, he also directs the Hyperscale strategy to fund and develop early-stage AI-driven startups. Granade focuses his executive career on the intersection of advanced data science, machine learning, and quantitative investing to build model-driven businesses.
