Matthew Goldberg

Matthew Goldberg is the President and Chief Executive Officer at Tripadvisor and a Founding Partner at Anthropocene Ventures. He assumed his executive leadership role at the publicly traded global travel platform in July 2022, following the establishment of his venture capital firm in June 2021. In addition to his primary corporate responsibilities, Goldberg serves as a Founding Board Member for the NASDAQ-listed special purpose acquisition company Blue Ocean Acquisition Corp, a position he has held since December 2021. His extensive governance experience also extends into the nonprofit sector, where he has maintained long-term board tenures with the Lumina Foundation since April 2015 and the Burning Man Project since April 2014. Goldberg's professional background primarily centers on executive management within the consumer technology and travel sectors, alongside early-stage venture capital investing and strategic nonprofit oversight.
