Matthew Giampetroni

Matthew Giampetroni is a Co-founder, Partner, and Managing Director at Velvet Sea Ventures, an early-stage technology investment firm based in New York. Serving on the firm's investment committee alongside investors like Kass Lazerow, he directs capital into startups with initial check sizes ranging from $100,000 to $5,000,000. Before establishing the venture capital firm in 2020, he worked as Chief of Stuff at the technology startup Shape Matrix, where he managed corporate strategy, market research, and strategic partnership development.
