Matthew Evans

Matthew Evans is a Partner on the Special Situations team at Bain Capital, where he leads the firm's industrials vertical and aviation investing franchise. He joined the global private equity firm in 2009 and has accumulated over 15 years of experience managing diverse portfolios that include control equity, minority equity, junior debt, senior debt, and hard assets. Within the industrials and aviation sectors, his investment scope covers airlines, government services companies, aerospace manufacturers, and aviation leasing platforms. Prior to his career in asset management, he graduated summa cum laude from Yale College in 2009 with a degree in ethics, politics, and economics, earning induction into the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. Evans currently focuses on executing complex special situations investments and overseeing alternative asset management strategies across the broader industrial and aviation economy.
