Matteo Leonardi

Matteo Leonardi is an Investment Manager at Grey Silo Ventures, where he focuses on sourcing and screening early-stage foodtech and biotech startups. He earned a bachelor's degree in Food Science from UniSG in 2017 and graduated with first-class honors with a Master of Science in International Management from ESCP Europe in 2019. Prior to his current position, Leonardi worked at the Accenture Global Innovation Center, facilitating open innovation initiatives for retail and consumer packaged goods clients. He also gained venture capital experience at Italian Angels for Growth by sourcing and closing early-stage investments in the digital technology sector, and previously served as a business development manager at Cereal Docks. Leonardi currently leverages his combined expertise in food science and international management to support innovative agribusinesses specializing in alternative proteins, future food technologies, and precision fermentation.
