Matteo Kimura

Matteo Kimura is a cofounder at Atum Works, where he focuses on applying advanced computational mathematics and algorithmic models to complex engineering and technology challenges. He previously earned his formal education in computational mathematics from Caltech before transitioning into specialized technical roles within aerospace engineering and advanced robotics. During his career, Kimura served as a systems engineer and flight director for an active space mission, writing critical lunar flight software and successfully leading multi-million dollar project proposals for NASA. His technical contributions include developing software tools utilized by tens of thousands of active users and engineering autonomous robotic systems deployed across orbital space, urban environments, and remote desert landscapes. Kimura currently leverages his extensive background in aerospace controls, near-space deployments, and mathematical modeling to build advanced technological solutions at his current venture, Atum Works.
