Matt Tran

Matt Tran is a serial entrepreneur and consumer hardware co-founder based in the San Francisco Bay Area. He previously co-founded Boosted Boards, an early electric skateboard manufacturer that achieved product-market fit, sold thousands of units globally, and was acquired by Logitech in 2017. Following this exit, Tran co-founded Skip, an electric scooter startup that participated in Y Combinator's Winter 2018 batch. At Skip, he helped scale the company's short-range transport fleet across multiple major United States cities and secured more than $105 million in venture capital funding before 2020.
