Matt Straz

Matt Straz is a venture capital investor and Partner at FiDi Ventures based in New York City. Since joining the firm in the first quarter of 2024, he has managed investments from a fund with over $50 million in assets under management, targeting early-stage startups founded by alumni of Y Combinator and Techstars. His portfolio encompasses more than ten investments across the financial technology, artificial intelligence, and enterprise software sectors, including leading a $2 million seed funding round for the AI logistics company LogiFlow in October 2024. Prior to his transition into venture capital, he held product management and technology operations roles at various early-stage tech companies and actively engaged with the Columbia University network. Straz currently leverages his prior operational background to identify and financially support emerging enterprise technology companies at the seed stage.
