Matt Sonefeldt

Matt Sonefeldt is a San Francisco Bay Area-based venture investor specializing in enterprise software and collaborative work tools, having most recently served as the head of Atlassian Ventures. He formally assumed leadership of the corporate venture arm in early 2022 after the unit had already deployed $110 million into the broader technology market. During his tenure, Sonefeldt oversaw a corporate portfolio that expanded to include more than $140 million invested across 37 different companies. Under his strategic direction, the fund backed prominent technology startups and enterprise platforms, including Snyk, JumpCloud, Zoom, Slack, and Robin. He was eventually succeeded in his leadership position at Atlassian Ventures by Peter Lenke.
