Matt Schiller

Matt Schiller is the CEO of Snappr, an on-demand photography and videography marketplace based in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Under his leadership, Snappr has secured over $10 million in funding and expanded its operations to more than 100 cities globally, including the company's recent expansion into European markets in 2024. Prior to his current venture, Schiller worked as a consultant at McKinsey & Company and co-founded GownTown, an early technology startup backed by Y Combinator in 2012. He earned his degree from the University of New South Wales and holds unconventional dual qualifications as both a software developer and a licensed medical doctor. Recently featured in Forbes Australia and scheduled to speak at Sydney Startup Week in 2025, Schiller focuses on scaling global marketplace platforms by combining his technical expertise with strategic business operations.
