Matt Mireles

Matt Mireles is an AI researcher, interface designer, and technology entrepreneur focused on human-computer interfaces. As a founder, he has developed several notable technology products, including TalkTastic, an AI voice interface for macOS, and OASIS, a photorealistic AI avatar video chat application. He previously established Dishcraft Robotics to build automated restaurant dishwashing systems and launched SpeakerText, a startup that was subsequently acquired. Before entering the technology industry, Mireles worked as a multimedia journalist for the New York Times, a 911 paramedic in the South Bronx, and a wildland firefighter in Montana. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in international relations from Columbia University and was profiled as a high-performing technology founder by Harvard Business School professor Jeff Bussgang. His current focus centers on advancing human-computer symbiosis through voice interfaces, avatar technology, and robotics applications.
