Matt Martorello

Matt Martorello is a Venture Partner at Promus Ventures based in Dallas, Texas. Before joining the venture firm in 2018, he founded and served as Chairman of Braviant Holdings, a financial technology company, and established the family office Liont LLC. He also founded and successfully exited Bellicose Capital and acted as a founding investor in the artificial intelligence voice platform GreenKey Technologies. Earlier in his career, he held roles in transaction services at KPMG and bond sales at Salomon Smith Barney, following his graduation with a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy and Finance from the University of Illinois. As an investor in his current capacity, he targets early-stage deep-tech software and hardware startups across diverse sectors like artificial intelligence, space, and digital health, typically deploying capital in the range of $100,000 to $5,000,000 per investment.
