Matt Mahvi

Matt Mahvi is a serial entrepreneur, technologist, and Limited Partner at the venture capital firm M13, based in Santa Monica, California. With over two decades of technology experience, he previously founded the cybersecurity firm Staminus, which achieved 14x organic growth and protected approximately 53.9 million webpages, representing one percent of the internet, before its 2016 acquisition by StackPath. Mahvi also founded Starmount Systems, a retail software company that was later acquired by Motorola Solutions, and he subsequently became an investor in StackPath. He holds multiple United States patents in network intrusion detection and mitigation, and has served as Chairman at Teli alongside investment roles at Talino, Abtum, and a private family office. His current venture capital focus centers on investments across cybersecurity, enterprise technology, and consumer tech markets, alongside sectors like fintech, healthcare services, and logistics.
