Matt Huttner

Matt Huttner is a General Partner at Lightspeed Venture Partners based in San Francisco, California, where he leads early-stage investments in consumer technology and enterprise software. Before joining Lightspeed in January 2023, he served as a Partner at Crosslink Capital from 2015 to 2022, following earlier investment roles at Battery Ventures and Goldman Sachs. Throughout his venture capital career, Huttner has led more than 20 investments, building a portfolio that includes high-growth technology companies such as Rippling and Notion. Operating within a firm that manages over $10 billion in assets, he recently led Lightspeed's $200 million Series C investment in DevRev in March 2024. He holds a Bachelor of Arts with distinction in East Asian Studies from Yale University. His current investment focus centers on early-stage consumer internet, SaaS, fintech, and artificial intelligence software applications.
