Matt Cannan

Matt Cannan is a Managing Director at Bain Capital Tech Opportunities based in Boston, Massachusetts. He originally joined the private equity firm in 2007 and has spent over fifteen years executing investments across the broader technology sector, with a specific emphasis on application software, infrastructure software, and cybersecurity. Throughout his extensive tenure, Cannan has directed growth equity and buyout transactions for numerous enterprise technology platforms, serving on the boards of portfolio companies such as A Cloud Guru and BioCatch.
