Matt Burton is a Partner at QED Investors based in New York City, where he leads the firm's founding stage investment platform, QED Belay. Before joining the venture capital firm in 2018, he served as the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Orchard, a fintech platform connecting institutional investors with online lenders that was acquired by Kabbage. Previously, Burton held key operational roles at two major advertising technology startups, including AdMeld, which Google purchased for $400 million in 2011, and LiveRail, which Facebook acquired for $500 million in 2014.
