Matt Anderson-Baron

Matt Anderson-Baron is a biotech entrepreneur and the Co-founder of Future Fields, a Canadian startup focused on advancing the emerging cellular agriculture industry. Prior to launching his current enterprise, he earned a PhD in cell biology from the University of Alberta, establishing a highly specialized technical foundation in the biological sciences. Recognized for his early contributions to the broader biotechnology sector, he notably became one of the first Canadian grant recipients to secure national funding specifically for cellular agriculture research.
