Matias Serebrinsky

Matias Serebrinsky is the Co-Founder and General Partner at PsyMed Ventures, a venture capital firm based in San Francisco, California. He established the firm in 2020 and subsequently raised a $25 million fund in 2022 to deploy checks ranging from $100,000 to $2.5 million into pre-seed and Series A startups. Through PsyMed Ventures, Serebrinsky has executed over 20 investments in the mental health sector, backing companies such as Delix Therapeutics during its $70 million funding round, Journey Clinical, and Beckley Psytech. Before transitioning to venture capital, he co-founded the food technology platform CookUnity, which scaled to generate over $500 million in revenue, and led the NVIDIA Inception accelerator program for artificial intelligence startups in North America. Drawing on his background as a startup operator, his current investment focus centers on frontier brain technologies, precision psychiatry, and psychedelic therapeutics.
