Matias Mosse

Matias Mosse is the Founder and Managing Director of Starlight Ventures and the Founder and CEO of Star Capital, based in Miami, Florida. He began his career as an early internet entrepreneur in Latin America during the mid-1990s and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Buenos Aires. Alongside co-founder Patricia Wexler, Mosse established Starlight Ventures in 2017 with an initial $5 million venture fund that incorporated ten prior angel investments. The firm has since executed nearly three dozen investments worldwide, typically writing minimum checks of $250,000 for early-stage opportunities. Through Star Capital, he also directs a thesis-driven private investment office focused on natural resources and real estate assets. Mosse currently focuses on financing deep tech and moonshot projects that leverage scientific breakthroughs to address complex global challenges.
