Mathieu Hecquet

Mathieu Hecquet is currently an Analyst at Mangrove Capital Partners, an early-stage venture capital firm focused on technology investments across the European and Israeli markets. In this capacity, he supports deal sourcing, investment due diligence, and portfolio management for a fund that has historically backed six unicorn companies, including Skype, Wix, and WalkMe. Prior to joining his current firm, Hecquet gained operational and venture ecosystem experience through previous roles at the livestream shopping platform Whatnot and the collaborative venture capital fellowship program baby vc. He holds a Master's degree, which he completed between 2016 and 2020, providing a formal academic foundation for his subsequent career in technology finance and startup evaluation. Hecquet currently focuses his investment research on identifying high-growth opportunities within the software, mobile, artificial intelligence, financial technology, e-commerce, and health technology sectors.
