Mathias Owing Maanum

Mathias Owing Maanum is a Principal at Antler based in London, UK, where he serves on the Global Investment Team and Antler Elevate. Since joining the firm in 2019, he has held multiple operational roles, including co-leading Antler Norway, directing global partnerships, and serving as interim co-lead for Antler East Africa. Prior to his venture capital career, Maanum worked as an Investment Professional at Explore Equity Partners and as an Associate at McKinsey & Company. His early background includes corporate finance internships and a teaching assistant position in finance. He holds a Master of Science in Economics from the Norwegian School of Economics, alongside studies at Università Bocconi and the University of Sydney. Maanum currently focuses on supporting founders from inception through scaling, specifically targeting early-stage investments across the climate, energy, and fintech sectors.
