Mateus Craveiro

Mateus Craveiro is the co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Z1, a digital banking platform specifically targeting teenagers and young adults across Latin America. Prior to establishing Z1 in early 2020, he worked as a Principal Software Engineer at Pagar.me, a prominent Brazilian payment processing company that was subsequently acquired by the financial technology firm StoneCo. Under his technical direction, Z1 successfully completed the Y Combinator accelerator program and secured over 72 million reais in venture capital funding from investors including MAYA Capital, Kazek, and Homebrew. The digital bank has rapidly expanded its market reach, notably accumulating a following of more than 300,000 users on ByteDance platforms. A computer scientist by training, Craveiro maintains a primary professional focus on scaling complex software engineering operations and building specialized financial technology infrastructure for the Generation Z demographic.
