Masha Bucher

Masha Bucher is the Founder and General Partner of Day One Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm based in Silicon Valley. Under her leadership, the firm closed its $150 million third fund in 2024, bringing its total assets under management to $450 million. Bucher has backed twelve early-stage companies that achieved unicorn status and overseen more than thirty portfolio exits, with notable investments including DuckDuckGo, Remote, and Worldcoin. Before establishing her own fund, she served as Vice President of Communications at Acronis and led communications for Runa Capital, alongside public relations roles supporting Houzz and HotelTonight. Additionally, she was previously recognized as a Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree. Her current investment focus centers on early-stage technology startups, leveraging her background in corporate communications to support emerging companies across the privacy, social technology, and consumer sectors.
