Martin Taylor

Martin Taylor is a Principal at F-Prime Capital based in Cambridge, United Kingdom. He holds a PhD from the Cancer Research UK London Research Institute and earned his BA and MSci degrees in Biochemistry from the University of Cambridge. Before joining F-Prime's London office in 2019, Taylor worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology, where he authored DNA replication research published in three major scientific journals including Cell, Nature, and Molecular Cell. In his current venture capital role, he specializes in early-stage biotechnology investments and company creation, actively contributing to the strategic development of portfolio companies such as ARTBIO, CHARM Therapeutics, and Tenpoint Therapeutics. Taylor currently focuses on advancing therapeutic development across the oncology, cardiovascular, renal, and metabolic disease sectors by bridging academic scientific research with private market capital.
