Martin Hintze is the Managing Partner at Fly Ventures, an early-stage investment fund based in Stockholm, Sweden. He holds a PhD in Artificial Intelligence from the KTH Royal Institute of Technology, where he developed foundational expertise in machine learning, computer vision, and scalable AI systems. As a serial entrepreneur, he previously co-founded and scaled multiple European technology companies to unicorn status, including the telecommunications firm Teclo Networks and the AI startup Ainstein, which was acquired by Intel in 2020. Since joining Fly Ventures as a partner in 2023, Hintze has backed a portfolio of more than 20 early-stage startups, recently participating in the 2024 Series B funding round for Scythe Robotics. His current professional focus centers on providing seed and Series A capital to founders building frontier technologies in robotics, deep tech, and enterprise software.
