Martin Baumann

Martin Baumann is the Managing Partner at CMCC Global, an international venture capital firm based in Hong Kong. In this capacity, he oversees a portfolio of more than 20 companies and manages over $300 million in assets under management, focusing primarily on growth-stage technology, software, and financial technology investments. Prior to his current position, Baumann held investment leadership roles at European venture capital firms Acton Capital Partners and Amadeus Capital Partners. His investment track record includes notable exits with prominent technology companies such as N26 and Auto1 Group, and he recently led a 2024 investment in a major Southeast Asian fintech unicorn. Appointed to the advisory board of a European tech accelerator in the first quarter of 2025, Baumann currently focuses on bridging the European and Asian venture ecosystems through strategic cross-border growth equity investments.
