Martin Altorfer is a Co-founder and Investor at Session.VC, an early-stage venture capital fund established in 2019 to back software and consumer companies. With over 30 years of experience in information technology, he has operated as a serial entrepreneur and an active angel investor for more than 20 years, achieving four successful exits as a founder. His past entrepreneurial ventures include founding Active-Net AG, which was acquired by UUNET in 1999, and Celeris AG, which sold to Swisscom in 2005. Altorfer also served as the Chief Information Officer at CSR Ltd. in Australia from 2007 to 2009, and acted as the Executive Chairman and seed investor for Bexio AG before its 2018 sale to Mobiliar. He currently provides seed funding and mentorship to early-stage startups, having co-created Session Lab with Philippe Bubb to facilitate founder discussions.
