Marlon Thompson

Marlon Thompson is the Chief Executive Officer of Future Capital and a Venture Partner at LOI Ventures. He founded Future Capital in 2020 to transform the North American venture capital landscape by providing structural support to underrepresented founders and emerging investors. In 2021, he expanded his investment portfolio by joining LOI Ventures, where he focuses on early-stage startup investing across the broader technology ecosystem. Beyond his primary investment roles, Thompson serves on the Board of Directors for QueerTech and holds a strategic position on the Advisory Council for Diversity at the apparel company lululemon. Prior to launching his own firm, he developed and led multiple diversity initiatives designed to build more inclusive technology ecosystems. His current professional focus remains centered on bridging the critical gap between diverse entrepreneurs and institutional capital across North America.
