Marlon Misra is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Assembly, an artificial intelligence platform for team knowledge management based in San Francisco, California. Before establishing Assembly, he worked as a software engineer at Scale AI and completed a bachelor's degree in Computer Science at the University of Waterloo. Under his leadership, the Y Combinator-backed startup has raised more than $20 million in total funding, including a $15 million Series A round led by Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) in January 2026. Misra recently directed the launch of the company's updated enterprise platform featuring AI agents in March 2025 and secured a strategic partnership with Notion in the first quarter of 2026.
