Marlon Misra

Marlon Misra is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Assembly, an artificial intelligence platform for team knowledge management based in San Francisco, California. Before establishing Assembly, he worked as a software engineer at Scale AI and completed a bachelor's degree in Computer Science at the University of Waterloo. Under his leadership, the Y Combinator-backed startup has raised more than $20 million in total funding, including a $15 million Series A round led by Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) in January 2026. Misra recently directed the launch of the company's updated enterprise platform featuring AI agents in March 2025 and secured a strategic partnership with Notion in the first quarter of 2026. His current professional focus centers on building and developing scalable enterprise SaaS solutions that leverage artificial intelligence to optimize workplace productivity, team collaboration, and workflow automation.
