Markus Okumus

Markus Okumus is the Founding Partner at FORM Life Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm based in San Francisco, California. He brings over 20 years of operational and entrepreneurial experience to his investment strategy, having previously established Okumus Consulting and co-founded multiple health and technology startups including Baze and Teal Omics. Before transitioning into the venture capital sector, Okumus earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on marketing and communication from the HWZ University of Applied Sciences in Zurich. Through his current fund, he has built a growing portfolio of health technology startups, directing early-stage capital into emerging companies such as Lumen, RxDiet, and Daybreak Health. His current focus centers on funding enterprises that leverage artificial intelligence, machine learning, and novel scientific advancements to develop personalized healthcare, wellness, and longevity solutions.
