Markus Jungnickel

Markus Jungnickel is the founder of Tabula, an artificial intelligence copilot platform for small and medium-sized enterprises and accountants, based in Berlin, Germany. The company participated in the Y Combinator Summer 2024 cohort to accelerate the development of its European financial software solutions for independent small businesses. Prior to founding Tabula, he worked at Trade Republic, a European financial technology unicorn backed by Sequoia Capital and Founders Fund, where his work focused on launching new digital financial services. His academic credentials include a Master of Science in Computing Science from Imperial College London and a degree in Law and Business from Cambridge University, where he graduated at the top of his class. Today, Jungnickel leverages his combined legal, business, and technical expertise to build automated accounting and financial technology tools tailored for the broader European market.
