Mark Shoaie is currently a Director on the Liquid and Structured Credit team at Bain Capital, where his primary responsibilities include overseeing portfolio positioning and driving investment analytics. Prior to assuming his current leadership role at Bain Capital, he served as an investment associate at Arrowstreet Capital and Blackstone Credit, where he evaluated complex credit instruments and managed structured investment strategies. Earlier in his financial career, Shoaie worked as an analyst at Goldman Sachs, developing foundational expertise in quantitative financial analysis, risk assessment, and institutional portfolio management. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Northeastern University and has also earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation to support his technical investment capabilities. Shoaie’s professional background centers entirely on institutional credit markets, maintaining a specialized focus on liquid products, structured investments, and advanced portfolio analytics.
