Mark Rausch

Dr. Mark Rausch is the Managing Partner at Trolley Venture Fund and Managing Director of Business Development at Merritt Healthcare Advisors, based in Richmond, Virginia. Previously, he co-founded BetterMed Urgent Care, serving as CEO and Medical Director from 2012 to 2017, where he scaled the business to eight clinics and approximately 200,000 annual patient visits within six years. He also co-founded the Skin Surgery Center of Virginia in 2005 and launched SecureHealth, a mobile testing company that served government agencies and universities. Rausch completed his medical degree at Eastern Virginia Medical School and his residency at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, later joining the board of Perfusion Medical. Drawing on over two decades of clinical and operational experience, his current focus centers on early-stage healthcare venture capital, strategic advisory, and MedTech investments.
