Mark Peter Davis

Mark Peter Davis is the Managing Partner at Interplay Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm based in San Francisco, California. Before transitioning to venture capital, he co-founded and led product development at the social networking application Path, and held key operational roles at AdMob prior to its acquisition by Google. The Stanford University alumnus also gained early technical experience at Tellme Networks before it was acquired by Microsoft, building a foundation in scalable consumer and enterprise software. At Interplay Ventures, Davis currently manages a portfolio of more than 20 companies, recently leading a seed investment in the artificial intelligence platform GrokTools in March 2025 while also serving as an advisor to Ripple. His current investment strategy primarily focuses on backing seed and Series A startups operating across the software as a service, artificial intelligence, and creator economy sectors.
